What is Emsella®?
Unlike other treatments that improve pelvic floor strength, Emsella® is completely noninvasive. The Emsella® chair allows you to remain fully clothed during treatment, letting you sit and relax during your treatment without feeling self-conscious. It stimulates muscle contractions to build pelvic floor muscle strength. This reduces sudden urges to go as well as bladder leaks.
How Does Emsella® Work?
Emsella® uses electromagnetic energy to cause the pelvic floor muscles to contract rapidly. These contractions strengthen the muscles and improve the brain’s control over these muscles by retraining the nervous system. During treatment, you will feel the muscles contract, but you should not feel any discomfort. The contractions mimic doing thousands of Kegel exercises in one short 30-minute session. Most people will need six treatments, usually scheduled two per week for three weeks.

Am I a Good Candidate for Emsella®?
