About truSculpt® ID

Your truSculpt® ID treatment targets your most difficult areas of fat, such as around the abdomen, thighs, arms, and even under the chin. Body contouring with truSculpt® ID reduces fat and tightens the skin, so the treated area looks firmer and more sculpted. This non-invasive treatment eliminates fat with none of the recovery time or discomfort of procedures like liposuction. 

TruSculpt® ID uses radiofrequency (RF) energy that travels through the skin and targets fat cells. The wavelengths of RF energy causes a process called lipolysis, which means they cause fat cells to break down. This energy does not affect the skin, blood vessels, or any other structures. Over the course of the next few weeks, your body’s lymphatic system will filter away the fat cells.

Radiofrequency energy also stimulates skin cells to produce collagen. This structural protein firms and tightens the skin, improving your body contouring results. Other body contouring methods can leave behind loose skin, but truSculpt® ID tightens skin as it removes fat for more effective body sculpting. 

The truSculpt® ID system has six applicators, enough to treat one large area or several smaller ones at the same time. These applicators are placed on the skin and start to send out RF energy. You will feel the warmth but no discomfort. Treatment takes only fifteen minutes so that you can have several areas of the body treated in less than an hour.

You can expect to see results about one month after treatment, with most results visible after about three months. Most people need one to three treatment sessions to achieve results. With truSculpt® ID, you can see up to a 24% fat reduction in the targeted areas. This significant fat removal leaves the area looking slimmer and more contoured. 

This non-invasive treatment requires no downtime. You can resume your usual activities immediately. Redness can occur right after treatment but will fade within a few hours. Unlike other body contouring treatments, truSculpt® ID causes no bruising or swelling. 

Most people make good candidates for truSculpt® ID. Ideal candidates are within 20-30 pounds of their target weight and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
