Secret™ RF microneedling works by creating micro-channels in the skin. A choice of insulated and semi-insulated needles lets your Alamo Ranch provider determine the depth of the RF energy. This controlled micro-damage signals to the surrounding cells that they should begin the healing process. New skin cells quickly restore the skin surface, and fibroblasts deep in the dermis produce increased collagen. How Often Should I Get Microneedling?

Each person’s skin will respond differently to treatment, and good skin care can help your results last longer. Avoiding sun exposure and wearing sunscreen at all times keeps UV rays from damaging your newly developed collagen. Is There Any Downtime With Microneedling?

You will usually notice that your skin looks mildly red and swollen for a few days after treatment. Only use gentle, fragrance-free products on your skin during healing, and avoid exfoliants, retinoids, and other irritants.

Am I a Good Candidate for Microneedling?

You might not be a good candidate if you have an infection or skin condition in the treatment area or a tendency to form keloids.
